FESCO Bill Installment Procedure

If you are experiencing financial difficulties and are unable to pay your FESCO bill in full, you may apply for a bill installment plan. This allows you to spread the payment over several months, reducing your financial burden. Here is a step-by-step guide to applying for a FESCO bill installment plan:

Taxes in FESCO Bills

Your FESCO bill includes several taxes. Here are the details:

Fuel Price Adjustment (FPA)

Fuel Price Adjustment (FPA) reflects changes in fuel costs. If fuel costs rise above the reference cost, an extra charge is added to your bill. If fuel costs are lower, an amount is subtracted from your bill.

Financing Cost Surcharge (F.C. Surcharge)

A charge of 43 paise per unit is added as the Financing Cost Surcharge. This surcharge helps repay loans taken by the electricity company.

TV Fee

A fee of Rs. 35 is added to support Pakistan Television (PTV).

General Sales Tax (GST)

A 17% General Sales Tax (GST) is applied to the total electricity cost.
