About QESCO

Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) was established as a public limited company under the Companies Ordinance, 1984, on May 13, 1998. It began its operations on July 1, 1998, following the corporatization and commercialization of WAPDA's Electricity Area Boards. During this process, QESCO took over the assets and liabilities of WAPDA. Currently, QESCO and other DISCOs (Distribution Companies) operate under the administrative control of the Government of Pakistan's Ministry of Water & Power.
